A glove recovered near Nancy Guthrie’s home appears to match those worn by a masked individual in FBI-released doorbell footage, according to multiple outlets citing federal authorities. Investigators found several gloves while searching the area surrounding Guthrie’s property.

Most were determined to belong to searchers who had discarded them during the investigation. However, one glove stood out, containing a DNA profile different from others recovered at the scene.

Authorities say it appears consistent with the gloves worn by the person captured in surveillance video. Final forensic test results are still pending as the investigation continues.

The search for Nancy Guthrie entered its third week on Sunday, with investigators pursuing thousands of tips. Authorities have received more than 18,000 tips since the investigation began.

Last week, law enforcement executed a search warrant at a home near Guthrie’s property based on a lead. No arrests were made, and a separate traffic stop questioning also resulted in no charges.

Investigators collected DNA from Guthrie’s property belonging to someone other than Guthrie or those close to her. Several items of evidence, including gloves, are being submitted for forensic analysis.

The FBI released an updated suspect description and increased the reward to $100,000. Guthrie, mother of Today show cohost Savannah Guthrie, was last seen January 31 after being dropped home from dinner. The investigation remains ongoing.
