American halfpipe skier Hunter Hess has responded after facing criticism from former President Donald Trump during the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.

Following a strong qualifying run, Hess leaned toward the camera and made an “L” sign on his forehead—a direct response to being labeled a “loser” by Trump days earlier.
